Swimming workout:

Warm Up (1000):

400 Choice, 400 reverse IM kick, 200 pull 100 free with snorkel, 100 back

Main Set (1300):

2x: rd1 = back, rd2 = free

    6 x 25 swim, focus on good form, 0:15RI 

    3 x 50 swim, hold best average, maintain good form @1:00

    100 race pace with start from block@ 5:00

    1 x 50 free EZ, 0:15RI

Cool Down (200):

200 Choice

Round 1 Back- :35, :33, :33. Round 2 Free – :30, :29, :28

The main set of today’s workout was the same as last week. I wanted to improve my times closer to my goal splits. I am happy with the results. having sub 37 50’s back give me confidence in my 200 back, however not so confident for the 100. I want to be closer to :31. For my free, I am okay with the splits. Like the 100 back, I need to be faster. I will focus on some more pull work this week.
